Katie graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the Spring of 2022 with a degree in Environmental Biology. In the Autumn of 2022, we welcomed Katie to the Millcreek team as a Growing Coordinator. In the Fall of 2023, Katie was promoted to Assistant Grower in our IMPACT & PRO#1 Perennial and Peony department. We look forward to her contributions in her new role!

Katie’s love for plants started with a personal garden, in her hometown of Michigan. She has been growing a variety of vegetables for the past 6 years. Katie brings a hard-working, well-organized, team-oriented attitude to Millcreek.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, paddle boarding, golfing, and kayaking. She also enjoys other activities including volleyball, drawing, photography, and cooking.
