In November 2022, we welcomed Mike to his new role as Account Manager and Sales Office Supervisor, a position that he has embraced with passion and dedication. From the beginning, Mike’s journey with Millcreek has been one of growth and contributions to our team.

Mike began with us in the summer of 2013 when he joined as an intern, eager to learn and make his mark in the horticulture industry. Following the completion of his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The Ohio State University, with a specialization in Sustainable Plant Systems, Mike transitioned to a full-time role in the Spring of 2014 as a Coordinator, focusing on our PRO #1 Perennials. His relentless drive and commitment to excellence quickly earned him promotions, first to Section Grower in PRO #1 Perennials and Stepables® in spring 2015, then to Section Grower in Propagation in the fall of 2016.

In his role as Section Grower in Propagation, Mike was instrumental in driving innovation and efficiency in our processes, propelling Millcreek forward with his energy and enthusiasm. His responsibilities extended beyond plant propagation to include developing crop recipes, schedules, and production plans, as well as ensuring compliance with safety standards as our Safety Coordinator.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mike’s passion for plants was cultivated during his upbringing in Wisconsin, where outdoor adventures and family camping trips ignited his love for nature. In his spare time, he finds joy in pursuits such as hiking, biking, cooking, exploring botanical gardens, and capturing the beauty of the natural world through photography.

As we reflect on the past decade of having Mike’s on our team, we are filled with gratitude for his unwavering dedication, relentless pursuit of excellence, and the positive impact he has had on our business and our customers. His commitment to our shared vision has been a driving force behind our success, and we are immensely proud to have him as a valued member of the Millcreek family.
