Celebrated her 25 year Anniversary with
Jen joined the Millcreek team in 1995 and throughout the many years she has spent time in nearly every area of our business. She worked in our Production area back in the days of emptying 3 cubic foot bags of soil into the soil hopper – long before our current days using 60 cubic foot bags and a large hoist!
She has helped in our Propagation area and has run our Shipping Department on two separate occasions. In 2008 Jen began assisting in the office processing orders and all of the related tasks from receiving an order to getting the order finalized.
By 2009 Jen began working in the office full time. In 2010 she was promoted to Program and Logistics Director, where she was an integral part in our transition to new growing software used to manage our inventory and orders. She is an absolute genius using our growing software and does everything from entering orders, finalizing orders and shipping lists, to invoicing, and monitoring crop status and how that affects customer orders. Jen designs all custom adhesive labels for our Pre-pricing program and sets up customer-level retail pricing that links to pricing that is displayed on pre-printed stickers. She prints Pick Tickets for our picking crews and custom pre-pricing stickers for our shipping department. Additionally, Jen handles all of our shipping logistics as she organizes all outgoing deliveries on our trucks.
In 2013 Jen received another promotion to Business Office Supervisor where she works alongside our management team to keep the office running smoothly. She also participates in additional responsibilities including Payroll, data management of hiring new employees, organizing our electronic documents, and assisting in the overall workflow of the office.
Jen is a critical part of the success of the Millcreek Gardens Team. She is extremely knowledgeable and committed and we are thankful to have her on our team!
