Millcreek Gardens is proud to celebrate Jay’s 20th anniversary with our team!

Jay first joined Millcreek as an intern in 2005. After graduating from The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute with degrees in Greenhouse Production and Management and Nursery Management, he became a full-time member of our team. Over the years, Jay has served as an Assistant Grower in the Perennial Quart and Herb Departments, bringing dedication and expertise to every role he’s held.

Today, Jay leads our Production Department, overseeing the production and transplanting of every container size across the company. His ability to successfully execute our production plans year after year is a vital part of Millcreek’s continued success.

Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time with his husband, Omar, their son, and their Mini Goldendoodles, Wally and Remy. Whether he’s visiting family and friends, working in the yard, or relaxing at the lake, Jay brings the same thoughtful energy to life that he brings to our team every day.

We are deeply grateful for Jay’s hard work, leadership, and the steady presence he’s provided over the past two decades — and we’re excited for all that’s still to come!
