PROFILE
Lyndsey earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Biology, along with a minor in Plant Biology, from Ohio University in 2017. Her passion for horticulture brought her to Millcreek in the spring of 2018 as a seasonal team member on the picking crews. After gaining experience throughout the Annuals, Shrubs, and Succulents department that summer, she was promoted to Growing Coordinator for the Quart Perennial Department, transitioning into a full-time role focused on crop care, order fulfillment, and maintaining high-quality plant standards.
In December 2019, Lyndsey advanced to Section Grower for IMPACT and PRO #1 Perennials as well as Peonies. In this position, she led work crews, managed crop health, and ensured consistent plant performance year-round. Her leadership within the IMPACT program has been instrumental in producing exceptional, visually impressive crops. Prior to joining Millcreek, Lyndsey brought six years of nursery and greenhouse experience that further strengthened her expertise and contributed to her success.
Lyndsey expanded her involvement in the industry in 2022 by joining AmericanHort’s GenNext Connector Group. Through this role, she actively participates in selecting HortScholars, crafting proposals for Cultivate programming, and collaborating on educational initiatives that support the growth and development of emerging professionals in horticulture.
In early 2023, Lyndsey stepped into the role of Growing Operations and Nursery Supervisor. She now oversees daily operations and labor allocation across all areas of the Growing department, working closely with the Growing Operations & Production Manager on long-term planning, staffing, and strategic objectives that support operational excellence.

In December 2025, Lyndsey further strengthened her professional credentials by earning her Greenhouse Section Grower Certification through AmericanHort. This rigorous program, taught by experienced horticulture professionals, equips growers with advanced technical skills, business knowledge, and the scientific understanding needed to improve plant health, optimize workflows, and enhance overall production efficiency.
Outside of Millcreek, Lyndsey enjoys spending time with her three pets—Izzy, Lilo, and Penny—exploring local spots around Delaware, and traveling. She also loves outdoor activities and visiting family and friends in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
