PROFILE
Cameron joined the Millcreek team as an Assistant Grower in the fall of 2024 following her graduation from Case Western Reserve University. Although her degree is in General Biology, she has always found herself drawn to plants throughout her studies and experiences. This passion has led to opportunities ranging from monitoring and removing invasive plant, animal, and insect species at both the federal and state levels to conducting plant ecology research at Case Western Reserve University.
In December 2025, Cameron further strengthened her professional credentials by earning her Greenhouse Section Grower Certification through AmericanHort. This rigorous program, taught by experienced horticulture professionals, equipped her with advanced technical skills, business knowledge, and scientific expertise to improve plant health, optimize production processes, and enhance overall growing efficiency. The knowledge and skills she gained continue to support her growth as a horticulture professional at Millcreek.
Growing up in Colorado, Cameron was surrounded by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, which inspired her lifelong appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Although Colorado will always hold a special place in her heart, she fell in love with Ohio’s lush vegetation and green landscapes during her time at Case Western Reserve University and decided to make the state her home.
Outside of work, Cameron enjoys hiking, photography, reading, and crafting. On weekends, you can often find her exploring parks, camping, browsing local coffee and book shops, or creating something new at home. She is excited to continue growing her knowledge of horticulture and discovering the incredible diversity of plants while building her career at Millcreek Gardens.
