Natalie worked at Millcreek as a seasonal employee on our shipping team in the Spring of 2014 and loved it so much that she changed her major at OSU to Agricultural Science. She completed an Internship with us over the summer in the Propagation Department and returned the following winter working in our Propagation department. Natalie graduated from OSU in 2016 with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, emphasizing Horticulture with a minor in Entomology. After working with another wholesale grower for 10 years, Natalie has returned to Millcreek as the Section Grower of Propagation.

With a strong interest in Integrated Pest Management, Natalie is dedicated to developing programs that blend minimal conventional pesticide use with beneficial insects and “softer” disease control methods. Natalie is also a Certified Pesticide Applicator and enjoys researching new techniques and chemistries to lessen impacts on pollinator and native insects.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her adult children as their schedules allow, reading, playing video games, and relaxing with her cats. In her previous career, Natalie was a professional pastry chef and loves to create elaborate pastries and desserts. On the weekends, she often travels with her partner, Brian, in his Cessna 182.
